Subject: A phubbing phenomenon - its predictors and consequences in a cross-cultural perspective
The subject matter of the present project is linked to a current social phenomenon of interest to social media psychology. The analyses are focused on phubbing, a new phenomenon defined as looking at the smartphone during a conversation with another person. The aim of the project is twofold. Firstly, it is to determine the role of country indices and personal characteristics in phubbing. Secondly, it is to verify the prevalence of phubbing in different countries.
